Little things I want to remember about 2 years 9 months old Aria

You eat your pizza upside down (and prefer it cold)

"Puter" = Computer (said in your little girl voice. so cute it hurts)

Your random incredibly adorable hugs that you give

Everytime you see Christmas lights or ornaments, you say Christmas

How you literally run to the door when Dad comes home from work and then remain GLUED to him till bedtime. You adore him and it is the sweetest thing ever.

How you can mimic down to the last detail little episodes of your favorite shows

How you like to eat peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon (just like dad...)

Your OBSESSION with puzzles and how you take each piece out individually and stack in up in a pile.

Your typical reaction to Asher. (Look at Asher's face...lol...he is like "Man, I can't win with her."

Preschool Prep

First Snow Fall

Not too sure about this "snow" thing.

I was "making it snow" - both of you thought it was the coolest thing ever

You kept pointing the ground and saying "Snow" and then I would say "Yep. Snow." All and all, you told me about the snow probably 10 times. It was really cute.

Trying to figure out what to do with it.

Cute things you said/did today:

Whiling watching Olivia, you ran up to me and said OH NO! and I said "What's the matter?". You then took my hand and said come on and brought me to the tv where Olivia's grandma was snoring. Then you said "Olivia sleep" (she was laying in bed with her eyes closed) and then you copied the snoring sound that the grandma was making and then said OH NO! again. And I said OOOOO. Olivia's grandma is snoring while she is trying to sleep. And then you looked at me and smiled. Like you were saying "You understand what I'm saying. FINALLY".

(This story was so much cooler in person I assure you.)

AND! I bought you an alphabet poster today and you knew every single picture that went along with the letters (except question mark for Q but really why did they choose question mark for Q...how many question marks do toddlers come into contact with). Even yo-yo and I'm not sure where you knew that one from. I was stoked.

Toddler Jokes

Talking to yourself in bed (while you were SUPPOSED to be napping):

"Cow."

"Squeak.Squeak.Squeak?"

Uncontrollable laughter.

"NOOOO."

Moo.

Uncontrollable laughter.

"Pig".

"Quack. Quack?"

Uncontrollable laughter.

"NOOO"

Ducky.

Uncontrollable laughter.

Farm animal humor is HIGHlarious.

"Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.

MILESTONE MOMENT

Last night was your first night in a big girl bed. There was a few rough moments but all in all it was a good night.

What won't you climb on?
